installed AMD radeon software and boot times are now about 15 times longer

I made the stupid mistake of installing amd radeon software onto my laptop, and now my windows swirly logo times take 15 times longer to get to login page. I clicked on the revert drivers in windows 10 and the problem has not been fixed. I dont know what to do and I am too scared of messing with drivers without any experience. should I

a) use the "update driver" in device manager to update to latest version?

b) uninstall amd radeon

c) something else pls help!
