ger a 10r or se if you want a iphone. get a 4a if you want android.

Do you want the freedom to do what you want with the software of the phone? Not being told "no you can't do that" if you want to install something outside of their store? Do you want to be able to simply drag and drop pictures and videos taken from the phone without needing additional software on your PC ? Do you want to be able to increase your storage capacity of the phone with a MicroSD card?

Do you use a mac / macbook ? Are you deep into the Apple ecosystem already ?

iPhone.

I cant really decide, like i like to use the IPhone. It feels better, smoother. but android is kinda indescribable feeling. Not really good, not really bad. It's kinda: meh. Also my mom uses IPhone. I like it.

My last IPhone was the IPhone 4. Even though it was kinda sloppy. I liked the user interface. Of course. Some day is the last day. And the phone pretty much died out. Then I used a Nokia 5 (huge mistake) and now I am with PocoPhone F1 which already is 2 years old

Think you've already answered your own question, then — get the best iPhone for the money, it'll make you happy. Not sure what the best deals are in Latvia, but I know the current iPhone SE is within your budget.

Ah right right, I couldn't remember if you could access the pictures without iTunes or not and even looking it up on Google told me it wasn't possible, but now that I look back, I was probably not looking properly and only seeing those "recovery/backup" softwares that wanted to advertise their shit.

 

What about things like Music though? Do you still need iTunes for that or can you access the folder on the phone straight from Explorer? Are you still forced to only buy it through iTunes or can you import Flac/MP3 from third party sources to it?

What about stuff you download off the internet, like say, a PDF for a class ?

As for  "why you wouldn't have iTunes" ... Because not every PC has iTunes installed. It sure isn't on my college's computers. So being able to drag and drop stuff is important, if you use your phone as a "flash drive" (which I do. I'm already carrying the cable in the off chance I need to charge it, so using it to store extra data is just as well)
