It's got three PCIe cables, each of them leading to two connectors for a total of six connectors.

So I'll be able to plug the pcie2x  8 pin (6 plus 2) into a 3080 sorry if this sounds dumb I'm just new to pc builds

Most PCIe 8-pin connectors split to a 6+2, and you can plug that into a 3080 (or any other graphics card that uses PCIe power for that matter).

 

One thing of note with a 3080 is that you'll ideally want to use two separate cables coming from the PSU, instead of just a single one.
