Help with power supply

You build is good, just upgrade the motherboard to something like a B550 or X570 tomahawk. For you PSU, click on it in your part list to go to the individual parts, then scroll down. On the left, you can find that it has: 12 sata and 4 molex. Also I think you should upgrade from RM series; they aren't very well built. Something like this would be better: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/P7pmP6/

EDIT: changed to 850w ver

So... I'm seeing a trend here.  You don't like Corsair PSUs for some reason.

You tell him the RM isn't very well built... then direct him to buy a Thermaltake that is essentially the same platform from the same OEM.

Hi I've got a question about the corsair rm 850 watt. Does this power supply have a molex connector and how many sata cables and connectors does it have?? Here is my dream build is it good? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vNrTvW

The RM850 comes with three SATA cables with four connectors each (total 12).

It also comes with 1 Molex cable with four connectors.

Haven't used that case.  The 24 pin is your typical 650mm.

Into the power supply.

Not sure I get your question.

It's a modular PSU.  If you need Molex, you use Molex.  If you don't, you keep it in the box for later.

But the 3080 needs 16 pcie pins and the corsair psu only has 8 pins (6 plus 2)

There is no such thing as a 16 pin PCIe.

You use two 8 pin PCIe.

Threads merged. You do not need to make 4 separate threads just to ask how many cables the RM850 PSU has.

You can find information about the number of cables/connectors the PSU comes with on the manufacturers website product page.
