There’s a lot of history associated with various food names.  There is apparently a dessert made with currants (which are like raisins but smaller and more acidic) called “spotted dick”. There was a fairly bad film the premise of which is due to a bizarre accident a person so far down the line of succession they actually lived in the US is made monarch (Kinda stupid) anyway he is presented with spotted dick and asks “um… dick of what?”

Yep.  Horrible movie.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

Something like that.  It was a weak premise.  Iirc British royal succession doesn’t quite work the way they describe.  The thing would have had to kill a whole lot more people than it did to even be possible or something.

I try not to Believe everything I hear and read. And for that matter, only the half the stuff I see.

I plan on cooking my bacon pie between now and the rest of the week. I discover the Dish last Year on YouTube. I would sworn that that same Video or Channel had both versions of this, both use a Cast Iron Skillet, neither used Parchment Paper nor Butter. One in an Oven and other on a Charcoal grill.

If in an Oven, 350F or 425F?

I don’t see why a bacon pie would want any butter.  Butter is milk fat.  Bacon already has huge amounts of lard in it.

And I'm not sure why Parchment Paper is even needed for Bacon Pie to begin with.

Parchment can do some weird stuff.  It’s watertight but not airtight for one thing.  Cooking is chemistry.  Just a very specific type.  You could probably look up the specifics of parchment paper and see what it is used for which could tell you.

The Pie is for sure, greasy tasting and I forgot to add the Minced Garlic and Mini Peppers. Sprinkling garlic powder after the Dish has been cooked isn't the same.

Had one as well in Germany once. Sounded strange on the menu, but turned out delicious indeed!

Eating one right now. Takes bite. Strange... Maybe takes a little getting used to?

I'll give that a try.

I just had a slice of bread I made myself, toasted, with 100% peanuts peanut butter.

Mmmmmm.

I tried a PB&J sandwich when I went to the US, it was too much and ended up leaving half of it, too thick, it was like trying to swallow grease.

Also had one donut, it was... weird, not terrible though, just like biting a fried hamburger bun with sugar on it.

Italian food is my favorite food.

Viva la pizza Italiana.

tomato sauce, cheese and basil.

I like to add dried oregano leaves to it but that's just my thing.

Pizza Margarita is always a good choice 😄

I usually add exotic spices to my Pizza, sometimes i use unknown Spaghetti spices, sometimes i use unknown Middle Eastern spices.

I like to experiment in the kitchen, how i decide if the spice is good for Pizza? - I smell it and imagine it as the taste of the spice together with the Pizza,

It works very well.

I also sometimes make a quick Pizza from a Pita bread 😄

It's think enough and rounded like a pizza so why not?

Tomatoes are best eaten fresh or in Fried Green Form. Stews and Chili Con Carne maybe. No sauces or on Pizza.  Don't get me started on Ketchup...

Actual Mushroom Catsup and Worcestershire Sauce? Hell Yes!!! On Meat and Fish that is.

That reminds me of what I've done before with my bacon on the grill.
After B-B-Q'ing the burgers I then cooked the bacon over the grill.

You MUST be careful due to the amount of grease that comes off the bacon (Flame-ups from hell) but if you do it right it's the best bacon you'll ever put in your mouth.
I simply use two "Splatter" screens (With handles of course) clipped/held together and sandwich the bacon strips between them, flipping the screens after about a minute. The screens and bacon WILL come out looking black but by color alone it's not burnt at all.... Unless you overcook it of course.

You'll have to keep a close eye on it to make sure it's cooked right and beware the bacon itself lighting up (In flames) because it will!

The charcoal adds flavor that goes well with it, you can really tell the difference between it and pan-fried bacon and in a burger, it's the bomb.

"If you ever need anything please don't hesitate to ask someone else first"..... Nirvana
"Whadda ya mean I ain't kind? Just not your kind"..... Megadeth
Speaking of things being "All Inclusive", Hell itself is too.
