Changing page redirects to reaction

Moonzy
Go to solution Solved by colonel_mortis,

I think this should be fixed in the next update, as I can reproduce it here but not on my dev install. If this happens again after the update, or when the beta is launched (hopefully in the next few weeks), please let me know.

Browser, version and OS: Win 10, Chrome

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

Video: (0:00 to demonstrate it's fine if you dont click on reaction, 0:10 to demonstrate issue)

Spoiler

Text:

1) visit this comment (edit: doesn't trigger if you use this link, have to use page's link)

2) click on reaction to see who reacted

3) click on page 2, then back to page 3

4) wait for redirect to reaction page

What happened?

redirected to reaction page

What did you expect to happen?

stay on page 3

Link to a page where it happened, if applicable:

https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1249824-ltt-photoshopping-medical-disability-onto-linus-for-clickbait-really/page/3/

Additonal info:

Only works if you use the "Loading..." in the page, not a hard refresh image.png.d8afbc2d394542b721c50f4edcfa9b15.png

Spoiler

Doesn't trigger if you refresh page 3 after closing reaction.

Doesn't trigger if you go to page 2, and paste the link to page 3 instead of clicking on page 3 button

Triggers if you use back button on browser from page 2 to page 3

Not quite sure what you even mean, but doesn't happen on Firefox. Could be just general laggyness, I see it loading tad longer than it should.

yes can confirm that it doesn't happen in Firefox, but it does happen in Chromium Edge, I think it might be Chromium's fault for aggressive caching?

Quote or Tag people so they know that you've replied.
