For gaming it's good, depending on your expectation, it should play the most of latest AAA games medium-high settings. The motherboard you should probably invest more on. Posted September 22, 2020 Go for at least Aorus Elite. Aorus Pro is highly recommended for upgrades in future (upgrading to Ryzen 7). If possible, get 80 Plus Gold PSU. 600W is ideal if you are going to upgrade your GPU in the future. I have ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). The aorus elite is crap tastic for it's price considering that motherboards that are 30-20$ cheaper do just as well if not better. All the Aorus Elite is all looks no performance. So, yeah, if he ever plans to buy RTX 3080 or 3090, he has one less thing to worry about. You have to make sure when recommending something that it is actually a good recommendation. When there are many other products of better quality for cheaper then the product you are recommending that is lesser is not the best option. Just because you managed to get it cheaper at the time does not mean op can get it for a good price thus you have to go look and see what options are available. You also have to realize that if a gpu is basically the whole budget of the op that they will not be able to upgrade to those cards for a while. Thus recommending a lower power but still good psu to save some money there so the other core parts can become better is often a better choice than getting stuck with a crappy motherboard.
