Android Tablet Sucks

So iv'e got an old android tablet with android 4 on it and i'm looking into replacing an OS and would like recommendations on what OS's would benefit a low-powered tablet.

There's about 0% chance that you can just replace the OS on it, mate.

Thats the best answer since we dont have any other info.

If your device is listed there and has a newer Android firmware for it, you can at least get it more up to date.

Which one? There are multiple versions of that tablet. 

The 10" model? Please give us the exact model number. For example T530 or T320.

Somewhere in settings, probably in some "about this device" you should be able to see a model number. We need the exact model number if you want a replacement ROM. You can't be guessing.

Looks like you can get LineageOS based on Android 9 on it from an unofficial port, or Android 10 based on some guy's own ROM called "LightningFastROM" that's apparently LineageOS but with some stuff stripped out.

Nope, he has T230 (Tab 4 7.0), and those are for Tab 4 8/10.

 

Latest ROMs are all 4.4.4 - some with theme changes to make them look like Marshmallow and Pie. Someone claims to be working on a new ROM on the forum for it, but don't rely on it happening.
