Dear Linus Tech tips forum,

I am building a new pc and I am just wondering if I am to use an EVGA 600w 80+ Gold power supply for an RTX 2060?

Assuming you don't have a crazy CPU or an unusual config, yes 600W is enough

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

What else are you putting in the system? For most RTX 2060 builds 600w would be enough. If you had I don't know a Core i9 and 10 HDDs and SSDs, then we might have a problem.

That's a 150w GPU, you could probably run it on a 300w psu.
