Is my cpu bottlenecking or my gpu

I have a rtx 2060 and

my cpu is Ryzen 7 2700. The problem is I am not getting good performance, also the benchmarks that I saw on youtube is far better than what I am getting. During games my cpu usage is 15-25% and my gpu is 85- 90%

My specs -

CPU- Ryzen 7 2700

GPU- RTX 2060

Ram- 1x16gb

Motherboard- B450m bakooka

Power supply- 550w

So is my cpu bottlenecking or my gpu is bottlenecking and how do I  fix this.

It's your single-channel memory, most likely.

You could sell that 1x16 kit on marketplace or ebay or something, and get a 2x8 kit, or just get a second stick of the same memory you have now.

Ryzen needs dual channel so you should always have ram in pairs of 2. Either sell the stick and get a 2x8gb kit of 3000mhz or higher or get a second 16gb stick of the same speed.

is this overall or single core usage?

you might be single thread limited

overall

try checking individual cores, see if any threads are constantly above 85% (normally the first thread)

you can use task manager, no % for individual core, but u can eyeball it

or you can try MSI afterburner to monitor more things in the system, it has overlay you can use to monitor while playing games too
