Not officially, but I think it's reasonable to assume it will happen. I think they hinted about it on the Wan show a few times.

Interesting. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it'll be at least 16+ since that's around the age most organizations in the area would allow individuals to volunteer without parental or guardian supervision. Allow people to volunteer with their folks supervising is just not practical and more of a hassle than its worth most of the time. However, because most of the tasks involve heavy lifting, handling expensive equipment (like disassembling PCs), and interacting with attendees, I would expect that age to rise to something like 18+. They would want responsible and mature individuals for those positions.

50/50 chance we even see LTX 2021, at least in the way it was done at LTX 2019. I think if we have an LTX 2021, it's gonna be at like a quarter capacity with social distancing/masks/bunch of other stuff. Probably won't be as fun.

Still plan to go.

Based on the current resurgence in Ontario (and I think in BC), I wouldn't suggest doing it till 2022, or late/fall 2021. No fault to anyone here and most honest people, the issue is it takes one person the infect a large number, social distancing or not. To guarantee 0 infection rate everyone would have to wear a mask, have temperatures read, identified with updated contact information and sanitize their hands frequently, as well all objects touched by visitors would have to be wiped after each use esp high traffic areas/washrooms, etc. Think efforts done by stores but in every way 10x+ more strict, as we are talking about people traveling far and wide and not local, plus there could still be a 2 week quarantine requirement (esp Americans if current rates stick around too much longer) for entering the country which alone would kill the event as it is, and something LMG might be required to see proof of, and logically would demand proof of if still in place for safety of the other patrons.

That said I'm all for them setting up dates etc for 2021 as things could improve significantly by then, as long as they are willing to cancel it again if needed which I'm sure they will be, as they are the only ones who know where everyone is coming from based on the last events. However based on current events, I wouldn't suggest doing 2021 simply based on risking a lost deposit.

If trends continue here, we could be thrown back into Stage 2, and it could be a cat/mouse trend for a year or longer, since our boarders are not truly closed, and never where.
