Noticed something while I was trying setting up to benchmark

Jason 57

So I am still trying to setup programs on the new system.

As I was going through the settings on MSI Afterburner, I noticed I don't have a OSD option for displaying any of my data.

I am guessing off the top of my head that my monitor doesn't support it.

LG 29UB55-B 29" Ultra Wide HD 2560 x 1080 5ms 2 x HDMI, DVI-D, DisplayPort Flicker-Safe Split Screen LED Backlit IPS …

I am using a MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X GPU.

Of course as I type this, I almost wonder if I didn't check to see if the settings were for other monitor, XP-Pen Artist Pro 22 display. And if so, how do I know which monitor display in Afterburner am I looking at?

I'll have to check when I get home. But why not ask the experts! :)

The monitor has nothing to do with “supporting” it or not. Just have to make sure you turn on the OSD settings in MSI afterburner.

It's RivaTuner Statistics Server that provides the actual OSD for Afterburner. That needs to be installed as well.

This might help:

And that I DIDN'T install!!

I left that off when I installed Afterburner.

So I don't feel like a complete fool.
