Ideas on how to gain performance on locked intel CPU’s?

Does anyone know of any ways to improve performance on locked intel CPU’s? Preferably if they apply to lga1150 and the i7 4770 (non K). I’d love to have a better cpu and not have to try to squeeze every drop of performance I can get out of it but i guess it’s just the way she goes boys. I’ve been a pc gamer for coming on 2 years now but not very well versed on the nitty gritty of overclocking and such. So don’t expect me to know what ratios and blck clocks are or anything lol. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Nothing you can do with a locked CPU unfortunately :/.

Ahh that’s a shame, I guess intel turbo boost is all I’ve really got in the pocket then huh?

If you have the option to increase the ring ratio (cache), that will help improve performance.

Yup. Nothing you can do to speed up a locked CPU. Depending on the mobo you may be able to enable like "enhanced trubo" (i forget what its called.... maybe something something enhancement? ) but the mobo manufacturers basically go around intel spec and lock the turbo across all cores, instead of a single core max clock and then if your using all cores the trubo speed will be lower. But, did this even exist yet with 4000 series? I am a little rusty on my 4000 series.... I had a delid 4770k, but man, that was a while ago now :/.

OR you can try and enable sync all cores in the bios? It MAY do the same thing? I am not sure, bot thats really the only options you have, and I am not sure if they are even legit options.

I doubt you can on a locked chip. But.... agreed, if possible, this would help.

I'm not sure. I've only had K chips. 2500K 4690K ect.

I believe my mobo has some of those features, I’m just not very well versed on how and what they do.

From a quick search it looks like it’s only for the k processor and possibly newer locked models but thanks I’ll keep that in mind when I eventually get an unlocked cpu.
