I just finished building a new PC, it turned on and now it doesn't want to.

DivineJO

I downloaded all the drivers, activated Windows, and then restarted it. That's when it stopped showing anything. I have a Ryzen 3 3200G.

Please help! I need this for University! .

Almost sounds like one of the drivers messed it up. What drivers exactly did you download?

Clear CMOS and try again. Can you get into BIOS?

does it still show the splash screen? (the motherboard brans logo when system first starts up)

I downloaded drivers straight from the motherboard manufacturer and from AMD. Downloaded the B450M Bazooka Max WiFi drivers from MSI and the Ryzen 3 3200G ones from AMD.

Was able to get into the BIOS after removing the M.2

Should I reset the BIOS or something? And how would I do that lol.

Or is the problem the M.2 itself?

hmm... so you're not getting a splash screen when m.2 is plugged in?

might be faulty drive or just bad bios settings

you could do that

power down the system, power off the PSU and:

- find the CLR_CMOS pins and short them with a screw driver for 2 seconds (normally near bottom right of motherboard)

OR

-  take out the button cell for 2 minutes, then put the battery back in

image.png.737f89529dc233778b60877ac5e969ac.png

then try to boot

I did what you told me about the battery and I was able to boot to windows but then I out of nowhere got an error? I was able to take a picture of it just in time.

Oh! And the white light isn't flashing anymore. 20200810_193736.thumb.jpg.8249303858e9fc78db426fd72f9f2caa.jpg

Well, I haven't uninstalled any of the motherboard drivers and I'm not having any problems so far

So I think I might be good?

did u enable XMP/DOCP in the bios?

if you didnt, do that, and then test the RAM with memtest86

if it failed and wont boot, reset CMOS again and turn on XMP/DOCP, but set the ram frequency to 2933

I had already done that before, I think that's when I got the issues. I had set it to 3000 but I just left it at Auto and it's working fine rn

it could be unstable RAM because Zen+ doesnt do so hot with 3000MHz sometimes

i asked about RAM because it resembled RAM issue too
