What do you consider fast RAM?

Yea my Hynix 3000 kits do Cl14 and Cl 13 respectively at or under XMP. Overclocking the sticks even on my good board is a joke. 3200mhz at best, but they are low end cheap ass stuff and I expect no less from it

Update: 

It seems what is considered fast is split very much, I am assuming the Ryzen users would be mostly picking 3600MHz CL16 and say that is fast enough while a Intel user would go with a 3800+ kit these voting results are truly fascinating.

I let the benchmark speak for itself. For 3rd gen ryzen AMD, if you already have 3200mhz ram, you're mostly perfectly fine. You might somewhat get the best performance at 3800mhz, and mostly with improved timings, but as the dude said in the video, you would be better off upgrading the rest of your PC if you already have 3200 mhz ram. The performance gets worse at anything beyond 3800.

Yep the 3200MHz CL14 mostly is equal to 3600MHz CL16 how ever some games does seem to prefer MHz over total speed in nano seconds, also there is a no brainer that the 3800 kit wins how ever we could argue a 3600MHz with CL14(not shown in test) may be a better buy for 2 reasons, one its much more likely to be working with both motherboard & CPU alike including to that a 3600MHz is very likely also cheaper...

There is only one FAST Ram - that's additional RAM added to an Amiga. The FAST RAM could be exclusively used by the CPU instead of being shared with the custom chips (what was called graphics mem). They used to say installing fast RAM would double the Amiga's speed but I like to think of it as not having FAST ram essentially halfed the performance of the machine.
