Best use for a PCIE 1x slot on motherboard

The title says it all, really. I have a spare 1x slot on my motherboard and I have no idea what to use it for. What are the best (or weirdest) uses for a PCIE 1x slot that isn't an NVME expansion card because I don't need extra storage,

if you dont know what to put in it, you clearly dont need anything to put in it, in which case you're best to leave it empty ;)

USB 3.0 hub card? I own Source 530, and decided to add internal card reader and 5.25" to 3.5" adapter with USB ports.

Not sure about your chassis, since modern chassis lacks of 5.25" bays.
