Pixel Gap Above Nav Bar (Chrome 4K Screen)

Chrome 84.0.4147.105

Windows 10 Build 19041

 

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

Have a 4K screen, scroll.

Any other relevant details:

Not present on other browsers, tried with Firefox 79.0 and Edge 44.19041.1.0 (might be present in new Chromium Edge? Didn't want to download it.)

Fixed by changing the "top" attribute of the #lmgNav id to -1px, but this might mess up other resolutions/browsers.

That's a Chrome issue - as you noted, we set the top to 0, so if rendered correctly there shouldn't be any space above it.

Kinda figured. Perhaps it was introduced when they fixed the gap that would appear under things rendering at the bottom of the viewport like link addresses when hovering. Or maybe it's a Windows scaling related thing. And I need dev branch for submitting a bug to chromium.

Oh joy it does depend on Windows scaling, it happens at 150% and 250% but nothing else.

Chrome is just a dink when it comes to scaling. I have nvidia surround enabled and it does the same on 3/4 sides.

I think that's a different problem, I'm talking about above the navigation bar at the top of the forums, not around the Chrome window itself. That seems like an Nvidia surround bug if anything.
