5700 non XT or 5600 Xt ? I was going to choose 5600 XT because it has the pulse version which I like

Just saw the 5700 non XT is pretty much not avaiable and if it is, under the same price as the 5700XT. Just go for the 5600XT pulse then. Still plenty of power for 1080p gaming 144Hz, especially with competitive settings.

Budget (including currency): -1000€

Country: Portugal

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: gaming at 1080 , 144hz dont need mad fps , just 144

Other details : dont mind windows

Hello everyone ,

I wanted to get a new pc , and I came up with this built :

There prices at my country are these

CPU :180€

GPU: 425€

Cooler: 40€

MBD: I only went for the micro-atx because its cheaper , and I think it doesnt change anything form the normal atx , does it change ?

Motherboard Micro-ATX MSI B450M-A Pro Max : 60€ , normal atx : 100€

Memory: 100€

Case: 80€

PSU: 80€

Monitor : 200€

I NEED to cut some money off , where can I do it ?

P.S : I know my SDD isnt that good , but it is the only part I am reusing from my old pc , and I dont need HDD because I use my SDD as storage (I dont use more than 300GB).

Reply me with all your thoughts , I need help .

5600 XT*

the 5700 is equivalent to a 2060 Super

At that point he should buy a 5600 XT if he wants 2060 performance or a 5700 if he wants 2060 pricing.

probably 100dollars cheaper but 5700XT is around the performance of rtx 2070 super so it makes no sense to go with rtx 2060. And amd has 5600XT which is better than rtx 2060 and also cheaper

I went for a micro atx instead of an atx just for the price + I dont need more ram space.

First I went for a Pulse 5700 XT but now I changed to a 5600 XT because on my country its 100€ cheaper , is that GPU good ? Can it handle gaming at 1080p 144Hz ? not ultra settings of course

People are telling me that I should buy 650W PSU , but if I do that I can only go for a Bronze one , is it that different from the Gold one ?

Please tell me all your thoughts I need help to decide .

if you really need to cut money off, Try and go for stock cooler instead of 212 assuming you dont OC. 550W should be enough, I have pretty much the same system. and do you have hdd and ssd? I would try and get a 5700 xt if possible

I dont use HDD becaause I use my SSD as storage , my sdd is kinda bad it 480BG not m.2 but it is the only part I am reusing from my old pc.

So you think I should not buy a cooler and just use the cpu one ?? is the difference between 5600XT and 5700Xt that big ?? + do you think this system can handle 5 years without upgrades ?

Maybe a B450M Pro4? Also ditch the H212, its not that much better than a stock cooler except for the noise, you can mildly overclock but not much but you'll at least be able to let it automatically boost.

Your part choices are very good. The only thing i'd change is the case. Go for a Phanteks P300A or P400A, BeQuiet 500DX, Meshify C. Depending on the case choice you can even safe a few $. You can also leave out the Hyper 212, as the AMD stock cooler are generally good enough. The 5700XT is a 1440p-targeted card, so 1080p 144Hz on Ultra will be no problem at all. Great balance in your build. I assume you already have storage. The monitor is a great choice aswell.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

This system can maybe handle 3 years without an upgrade but maybe in a few months get a budget AIO and yes 5600XT compares to a 1660 ti or a 2060 while 5700XT is more of a 2060 super or 2070

You can't really cut the cost of it maybe by going cheaper case and stock cooler unless you are overclocking

I really dont know which case I am going to pick but that for later , about the storage . Would get a 2TB barracuda then you need more space for games with a beefy card like that I assume you will be playing newer or good graphics games, those often take 20+ GB and windows is about 15 after install that is if you are going windows but I guess you are, also you could go 5600XT to save some if you only need 1080p on non ultra

How? isn't warzone alone like 200GB? (nvm it's MW warzone is only 100) fortnite is like 87 CS 20 valorant and hyper scape I'm not sure but must be super small since it's around 200 GB used (is it windows counted in?)
