Can't decide on a case for my girlfriend

I am going to build a gaming tower for my girlfriend.

Why? Because her... laptop... has already been Frankensteined beyond safe boundaries by a buddy of mine (He even soldered on a new cpu and graphics chip). But it's still lagging in a simple game such as league of legends and portal knights.

So yeah. It's time for an upgrade. She doesn't need a very powerful PC because she doesn't own any truly demanding games.

 

Now. Before you judge the parts I have. Some of them are from my older sister's old Ryzen build. Before she moved to Intel. Hahaha.. TRAITOR!!

Anyway. Some of the parts are second hand. So I'm putting that in below.

 

Parts:

Mobo: Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600x (Second Hand)

CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X53, 240mm AIO (Second Hand)

RAM: 16GB HyperX Fury DDR4 3200MHz (Second Hand)

GPU: Asus Radeon RX 580 ROG Strix 8GB (Second Hand)

SSD: Samsung 500GB 970 EVO Plus

HDD: Seagate BarraCuda 2TB 3.5" 7200rpm

PSU: Corsair 650W RM650x modular 80 Plus Gold (Second Hand)

 

Now. With all that in mind, I have no idea what case I should buy for her.

Anyone got any ideas of really good looking cases?

The thing won’t make a ton of heat and the cpu is massively over cooled (which doesn’t hurt anything). There are a couple common ways to go with this one.  White cases and blinky lights are common. Basically anything that will take the 2 fan cpu cooler.  It’s going to be about taste and you know the woman I don’t.  It’s pretty easy to spend between $35-$250 on a case.  With that much cpu cooling and that Little video card case air dynamics doesn’t matter all that much.  Her personal visual taste is going to be paramount.

I'd personally try and downsize to micro-atx and then get the Meshify Mini C or the Define Mini C .

As a girl, I like sleek and professional looking cases that are frosty white. Thats just my preference though, I'd defiantly rock that pink cat case too. I would show her pictures of RGB vomit and sleek cases to get an idea what she likes. She also might not care, in which case go super pink.

 

If she doesnt care, you could also go low profile and get something to tuck behind the desk.

Honestly. I did not see any of these points. I learned something today.

 

Probably gonna show her RGB porn PC's to get an idea of what she likes.

 

Just gotta do it without her realizing what I'm up to.

Can confirm, girls love stickers. I have 2 on my NZXT S340, 1 on my laptop, 3 on my game stream server, and 1 on my phone. I also got a white case because I originally planned to do a cool stencil mural of constellations when I originally built my computer.
