Best Intel CPU for 2020?!

B550 vs X570, i see a lot of differences to ignor, for 100$ price.

At 1440p even a Ryzen 3 3300X will be fine with a 2080 Ti

Unless you need massive amounts of PCIe 4.0 storage, get the B550 Strix. It can easily handle a maxed out 16 core I'd you decide to upgrade

B550 then. Your SSD is 3.0, not 4.0 so you will always be on max speed

Second one. 3600MHz is the sweet spot as you will easily maintain a 1:1 ratio with the infinity clock and the latency is also good.

What is the reason not to buy x570 ? Money waste and not using the performance?

Or something else

You won't use any of the features unless you buy mass PCIe 4.0 SSDs and decide to do LN2 overclocking.

Haha, I see.

The only notable bonus on the B550-E compared to the B550-F is the inclusion of an internal Type-C connector, so if your case has a front USB-C port, you'll need that.

If you can't get the B550-F and/or need the internal Type-C, how does the price of the B550-E compare to the X570-F?

the price difference is something like 30-50$

I assume as in the X570-F is $30-50 more expensive?

In that case, personally I'd suggest going with the B550-F, unless the B550-E is only $5 or so more expensive.

Mostly it's the chipset being more expensive, but that's about it.

The X570-F is also quite overpriced for what it offers, as is quite common with ASUS. For example, MSI's X570 Tomahawk is a straight up better motherboard than the X570-F, and (going by MSRP) is $30-40 less expensive. It's just that with the Strix board you're also paying the ASUS tax and ROG tax.

Out of ASUS' B550 lineup, excluding the really low-end stuff, the B550-F is reasonably competitively priced compared to its MSI and Gigabyte counterparts, as well as maybe the TUF, but that's about it.

OK then I guess. Will wait for new 4000 series, nd see what we do then.

My only scare, is that it might run out of stock.
