Do Blower Fans work in the other direction?

Nope you can't get it to blow the other way. It will blow the same way, but much more inefficently.

Just wondering if anyone knew? 

 

So what i mean by this, is a blower fan sucks air in the circular front of the fan, then blows it out the side, perpendicular the the intake. 

 

I was wondering if anyone knew if it would work in reverse? So you intake air from the side and then the air is exhausted from the circular fan?

no, fan design not work like this, a fan could be designed to work like this but would be quite different

No.  Blower fans are centrifugical.  Air compresses at the outer edge of the disk.  Running it in the other direction won’t make air compress at the center, it will just point the blades badly.  If you reversed the motor on a blower card it would still blow in the same direction, just not as well.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Not to mention that making it rotate the other way is really not easy.
