X570 mobo swap

So I just switched my x570 gaming x to an msi x570 Meg ace. I’m fairly new to building computers and what not. I looked the process up and when it came to windows 10 and swapping motherboards it seemed really complicated. But then I saw some people say it was easy. So I swapped them out and booted up and I literally didn’t have to do anything. Windows 10 recognize EVERYTHING . It almost seemed to easy. Am I missing something? Did I do something wrong that I’m going to regret later on?

If it's okay then leave it as is. Sometimes it could mess with your Windows install but if it's fine then leave it as is..

If all your changing is the board, make sure to install/uninstall board-specific drivers for Audio/LAN/I/O and etc but the chipset driver and overall OS should be fine-ish.

I'd recommend to do this as well.  You may find some in Add/Remove Programs and others in Device Manager.  When you go into Device Manager you'll need to go to View > Show Hidden Devices.  Those grayed out devices are the ones that aren't currently present in the system and can be safely deleted.  If the system sees them again it will re-install those drivers.
