What are you most proud of in your new build? (:

Just wondering what everyone feels most proud about their PC. It could be what you think makes it look amazing or it could be a technical issue that took you forever to figure out. What makes your build.... yours?

Mine is something that is very simple, yet makes it different from most other builds AND I think it makes it look better AND it saved me like 20€. I didn't install an optical drive. The only thing I ever really needed one for was installing windows, and I was able to do that with my sister's external one.

Bitfenix Shinobi Window, ASUS P8Z77-V PRO, Intel i5 3570k Cooled by Noctua NH-U12S, msi GTX 660 (non-ti) 2GB, Kingston HyperX Genesis 1600Mhz 8GBCorsair CX600, Western Digital Caviar Black 750GB, ASUS Xonar DGX, Windows 7 Home Premium, 1995 IBM Model M2 (buckling springs), SteelSeries Sensei RAW, Sennheiser HD 518, A 22" 1680x1050 LG TV, Samsung S27D390H 27" PLS HD Monitor, Crucial MX-100 256GB SSD, RGB Case LEDs from IKEA(no kidding)

  • 2 weeks later...
Definitely the cable management, I was foolish enough to purchase a CM Elite 430, which had little support for cable management. Took some time, but I think it turned out pretty well.

The thing I'm proud about my rig the most is that I worked so hard in trying to make all the cables disappear and be slightly noticeable.

Your hard work paid off, the cable management is perfect and makes your rig look great and clean.

I am most proud of the fact I build 9v adapters for fans myself, and its so quiet... :D I mean there are 7 fans overall (intake, exhaust, radiator fans for 2 water cooling systems and a PSU fan) and they cannot make less noise and work as good :D

How clean i was able to get the cables and quiet I could run the fans.
