Is the rtx 2060 a good upgrade from my 970?

I’m wondering if its worth it to replace my 970 with a 2060, also I’m wondering if it’s worth it to spend $100 extra to get a 2060 super. I play games at 1080p 60hz.

1080p 60hz the 970 will be enough even in new games if you reduce settings to medium/high. The new GPUs are launching this year both by AMD and Nvidia so better to wait you will get much better performance then current generation GPUs.

no wait for new GPUs.

at 1080p you may have a little vram issues but it shouldn't be much
