the 3000 series is the better upgrade. not sure about the 360hz though, no idea if it feels like jumping from 60hz to 144hz, probably not, but idk, would need to see it in person to decide.

I would say you only need to upgrade your RAM from 16 to 32. For this kind of a powerful PC 32GB is recommended. For the Monitors I would say you don't need more than 240hz, because the difference is really small between 240 and 300, but about 360 I'm not sure. And from the leakes about the new 3080 and the other two I would say just buy a 2080ti, because the 3080ti is going to be really pricy and the 2080ti is powerful enough. You can run any game with Ray Tracing turned on with over 100fps. And for the popular ones like Overwatch, R6, CS GO and others you get your 300fps for your monitors.

Wow. Didn't even realize they made a 360hz display. Honestly, I think we're reaching the point of stupidity here. 144hz was meaningful. 240hz less so, but for competitive gaming it does help. 360hz? Nah. Besides, you need to be pushing at least as many frames to make it worth while, and aside from maybe CSGO, you're not going to get 360 FPS with any card you can get this gen or next.
