LTT Store suggestion.

@LinusTech 

I have been thinking on and off about this and I know that LMG has not promoted coffee in a little while but would it be to far out to ask for an LTT coffee mug? not a 10 oz or 12oz mug but a decent sized 20oz mug?  I drink coffee maybe twice a week but I would like to drink up some good tech coffee and I think an LTT Coffee mug would make a great addition to my mug collection, not to mention my desk while I drink it.

 

Also maybe get Matt Best and Black Rifle Coffee to do a LTT guest shoot to promote the mug? Lol! that would be epic but probably to much to ask.

An xl mug is definitely something I could get behind. Just please make sure it has a cool design and isn't plastered with LinusTechTips. Stylized LTT is acceptable 😋

If we’re talking mugs, can we talking about what makes a travel mug good? (I think the design of ceramic mugs is pretty well established) 

 

IMO, leakproof is a must. These Yeti mugs that have become a big fad have the worst standard lid. I have a Zojirushi mug that has a great lid but it’s made up of at least 4 parts/rubber gaskets that can be a bit of a faff to clean. On the other hand, Camelbak and Contigo have lids that don’t come apart where the insides are almost impossible to clean. There’s gotta be a good solution to this. 
 

Second, it’s gotta be good at keeping things warm. Obviously. 
 

Third, it has to fit in a standard car cupholder. So a big mug needs a taper and a short mug can’t have a handle. This is another Yeti problem.
