EDIT: my other post got removed, what I said was basically "Ryzen 3600 vs 2700 is more single core vs. 4 threads extra respectively. In my mind the 3600 makes more sense, because you don't always know how many cores all programs will use. Even at all-core use, the difference is minimal"

I'd suggest picking the 3600 over the 2700 - the 3600 is better than the 2700 in gaming and the vast majority of tasks by a wider margin than the 2700 is better in heavily multi-threaded applications.

Also, can your video editing software take advantage of CUDA, or do you not mind whether you go Nvidia or AMD for the GPU?

Should give you a well rounded editing and gaming system. Just to note, the case isn't the best for airflow, however with current pricing there aren't many other options. Try and get some extra fans, or keep an eye on other cases like the phanteks P300A or Coolermaster NR600
