Is it possible to game on the Intel i5 4570 even on low - med settings.

Question in the title. 
EDITED: it has a GTX 1060 paired with the i5 4570

planning to play Minecraft most of the time but I don’t expect to run ultra settings.

Motherboard tier list. Tier A for overclocking 5950x. Tier B for overclocking 5900x, Tier C for overclocking 5800X. Tier D for overclocking 5600X. Tier F for 4/6 core Cpus at stock. Tier E avoid.

(Also case airflow matter or if you are using Downcraft air cooler)

Gpu tier list. Rtx 3000 and RX 6000 not included since not so many reviews. Tier S for Water cooling. Tier A and B for overcloking. Tier C stock and Tier D avoid.

( You can overclock Tier C just fine, but it can get very loud, that is why it is not recommended for overclocking, same with tier D)

(RTX 3000/ RX 6000 Might run just fine with higher wattage tier B unit, Rtx 3070 runs fine with tier B units)

My brother manages to game at med-high settings (depending on game of course - minecraft runs fine at max settings) on a 3570K (stock) with a GTX 970 G1 Gaming (also stock). You've just got to remember the limits - a lot of newer games can get decent FPS, but with stuttering and "lag". Same as my friend with an RX580 and my old i5 4440 (that was maxed out in any semi recent game).

I've managed to get it running on as low down as a Core M3-6Y30 (640x480 lowest settings). Just about anything can run it.

Yeah in light games you shouldn't run into any problems. Sure the 4570's not exactly ideal by today's standards, but realistically speaking it'll generally be enough to keep a 1060 fed in a large majority of titles out there.
