ryzen 3700x temperature spike due to small heatsink?

image.png.da73d4fa01ea854e4204ce338f4906a7.pngIs this normal for 3700x idle (tried max out the cpu fans, temperature is lower but the spiking is still there)? temperature is much lower when gaming somehow (50-60 max). Or is that anything wrong with the motherboard sensor? Hope someone with similar issue/ observation can guide me through this. Thanks.

Motherboard tier list. Tier A for overclocking 5950x. Tier B for overclocking 5900x, Tier C for overclocking 5800X. Tier D for overclocking 5600X. Tier F for 4/6 core Cpus at stock. Tier E avoid.

(Also case airflow matter or if you are using Downcraft air cooler)

( You can overclock Tier C just fine, but it can get very loud, that is why it is not recommended for overclocking, same with tier D)

Its normal for ryzen .. Have 3 3300 and 5 3600  its same even with overkill liquid cooling ..

I know one way to "fix" it .. OC :P

3 3300 is on 4.4ghz  and 5 3600 on 4.2ghz.. No spikes
