best cheap SSD for OS?

im planning to buy a SSD for all of the computers in my house, 2 Lenovo PCs(the former is and 4th gen Pentium and the latter is a 6th gen i3) brought by my Dad from his workplace, My bros 2013 Asus Laptop(3rd Gen i3 mobile), and my PC(6th gen i5)

*Im going to name the PCs according to their CPUs

The chonky pentium is sitting at below TV and it is rarely used because it only used as sort of a HTPC.

the i3 is used by my father where he use it for his work and LOVES to download MTVs and Instrument tutorials on YT, and a lot of ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) on torrents endlessly. (he downloads so much that I had to limit his internet speed because he was insensitve to others(us) who use the internet smh)

my bro's i3 laptop is lagging that he is complaining because his computer is slow even though i bought another stick of 4GB DDR3 so that it will have 8GB of RAM(i borrowed his laptop since he wasn't using it and i bought the RAM in the process)

lastly mine where everything is fine until i wanted to upgrade it with gaming components because i just use it for school works, and my PC was not made for gaming(i mean i have no dedicated GPU, no proper PSU and using a cheap asf Case.)

they all suffer from lag and slow boot up.

what SSDs should i buy for these PCs?

I want it all brand new though.

man for most of these I would have said just go buy a lot of older intel 180gb drives

P needs likely a 120

500gb maybe good enough

250-500gb

250-500gb

pny CS900 or WD blue should be fine for all of them.

many of the older intel drives come in 40 80, 120, 180, 240

really for current OS 120 is small

180 okay

240 where most people have room

240+ really kinda needed for a current gaming system given how big games are

intel 320, 710, 510. 520, 530, 535

really its most of intels pre 2015 drives

avoid the before 2011

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_SSDs

look for drive health info, good seller rating. if you going for 3-4 drives of the same type lot can be a good keyword

its not always a guarantee and shipping may ruin it. just something to look at from time to time.
