Building my first PC, NEED HELP!!

Budget (including currency): 16,000 Thai Baht (500-510 USD)

Country: Thailand

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mainly gaming: Rainbow Six Siege, CSGO, DOTA2, Battlefield, COD, ETC

Here's my planned rig:

  • i3-9100f
  • GTX 1060-3gb (already bought for a very cheap price from my cousin 2nd hand)
  • Gigabyte H310M H
  • RAM DDR4 2666 Kingston HyperX Fury 16GB (8x2)
  • PSU 550W I don't know which form factor to decide

I am looking at the CORSAIR CV550 550W and THERMALTAKE 550W TR2 S which one is better or can you guys give me a better recommendation?

Question 1: Is my planned rig compatible? Will it run smoothly?

Question 2: Which PSU should I buy that wouldn't rip my wallet apart and also doesn't blow up the entire room.

PLEASE HELP, I'M BUILDING MY FIRST PC WHICH I HAVE BEEN SAVING UP FOR MORE THAN A YEAR!!

9100f is a bad cpu. if you want a long term pc, go for Ryzen.

Try 3300x for the cpu and a cheap B450 for the motherboard.

Ryzen 5700g @ 4.4ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | 3060 | 2x 16gb Micron E 2666 @ 4200mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 12 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

Yea the 9100f is pretty bad for $500 budget . I’d say go for ryzen and thier ryzen 3 3300x or the 3100. If your just using it for gaming then those right now are some of the best budget CPU’s
