MY RIG IS STUTTERING SO BADLY!

Just now, Curious Pineapple said:

The 6800k has hyper-threading, you should enable that in the UEFI and see if that helps CPU performance. There could be a rogue running though with CPU pegged at 100%.

Its an 8600K according to that, which should be 6 core & 6 thread. It's still not showing correctly though.

update: i just swapped processor and the stutter was vanished. So I think it was the processor?>

Where did the CPU come from? It should be a 6 core hyperthreaded CPU, not a 4 core.

Run the malware scan.

i had this issue before...

either it's the bios... (reset the bios to default values then set the memory speed)

or it's something with cpu drivers in device manager ?

can u provide us a screen shot of the processors tab in device manager ?

I read it wrong, thought it was 6800k. Where did the original CPU come from though?

Run the Malware scan, if that doesn't find anything then update the BIOS to the latest version if it isn't already. Then clear CMOS, you will then need to enable XMP in the BIOS again. If your task manage is still showing 4 logical cores instead of 6, do a full windows reinstall.
