how to tell if a gpu is what the seller says

xdeathshot20

So i was looking on eBay earlier and i found someone selling a evga 1080ti for $100.  I looked up the mpn number that the seller has listed and it does match the card that it is.  My worry is that why is he selling it for so cheap compared to other cards.  My question is how do i prove that it is legitly a 1080ti?  I could ask him to send me a gpu-z but do i trust them that it is legit?  Ill post a link to the item and you can tell me if you think its the best deal ever or a scam.  Thanks

Its definitely a scam,

if something looks too good to be true, it generally is. I would expect eBay to shut it down in a few days once they catch wind of whats happening. I assume that the sellers account got hacked or something and is being forced to sell it. The info is probably taken from google/evga website as well.

Another thing to keep in mind is that while the rating that the person selling it has is 100%, its a buyer rating and not a seller rating. The person bought something from someone else and they gave him a 5 star review.

Well first, I've never seen a green FTW3 card. I WOULD NOT TRUST THIS!!! Looks way to good to be true! Don't get yourself screwed over by this ad.
