hey guys iam going to build my first pc for pure 1080p60fps and i have been searching and i think iam in bad moment to do it

If your planning on keeping that monitor a 5700xt or 2070 would be a waste of money. Should at least target 144hz or 1440p with that level of hardware. If you want 1080p 60hz you may as well stick with the 1660super

PC

Ryzen 5 2600 Stock

Sapphire Nitro+ Special Edition Radeon RX580 8GB (Would Recommend)

Gigabyte B450M DS3H (Don't recommend)

Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition

Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4 3000MHz CL15

Phanteks P300 (Would Recommend)

Kingston A400 240GB SSD

Seagate BarraCuda 1TB HDD

Corsair CX550M 550W  80+ Bronze

Deepcool FH-10 Fan Hub

3x BeQuiet Pure Wings 2

Not a great idea since Zen 3 is also coming in September and if you're waiting for the GPU, might as well wait for the Ryzen 5 4600 as it's reportedly up to 20% faster than the 3600.

actually iam not waiting that is the problem i want to game right now at the same time i don't want to spend all the money for expensive gpu that will be outporformmed by nex gen cheap gpu if you know what i mean

so a 3600 + 1660super will be good enough for high/ultra 60fps ? in this current games and the next upcoming games ?

Get a 1660 or 1660 Ti. The Super is a shitshow. IT's a 1660 with GDDR6 and nothing more. The Ti is notably better and the non-Super isn't that far behind.

But don't expect miracles from a 1660-class card. Next gen 2650 models will likely outperform it notably.

I should think so. Obviously the others will give you a little more headroom, but i'd say you should save the cash, and you can always upgrade later down the line if you find you can't reach these settings

building a PC right now is really not smart. But if you think having the PC right now, is important for you and you will have a lot of fun, there is value in that too.

The Ryzen 5 3600 is enough for gaming and will probably be for the next two years. But no one knows how much the CPU requirements will increase with the launch of the next console generation.
If you get a GPU now, you will also not have good rayracing support. (Ampere is rumored to have 4x the raytracing speed and the games will utilize that, meaning you won't have all the features you really want to have.

I also had the problem, my old GPU died, but there is really no new GPU that was worth it. So I got a cheap used RX 580 for 100€, which will be enough for 1080p right now. And in 1 or 2 years, I can upgrade if it is necissary :D

I can't promise that the new GPUs are out by October. Current rumors point towards a september release, but you never know.

But get a new GPU, when both are out (because they'll probably try to price them competitively then)

As I said, I don't know how CPU requirements will change. The PS5 has a clocked down ryzen 7 3700x.

Realistically you can stick with the 1660 super for 2-3 Years, if you can stand not having raytracing support. But it is just a waste of money right now ...

what would you do if you have 1200$ rightnow and don't have a pc ?

Actually I just checked out used GPU prices in the USA and it is actually worse than where I am .__. they want $150 for a gtx 970 ... So it is a hard question.

Usually I'd either just wait and spend your time doing something else, get a cheap system from ebay and sell it again for a small loss or buy a r7 3700X system, since that should last through the next console generation. And then get a cheap GPU from ebay (for like $50 or $60) that plays 1080p medium to high right now. So a 1050 or a RX 570. But they are still more expensive right now :c ...

Maybe you can check, if there are good deals on GPUs in your area. Otherwise I'd legit just wait. Since the rumors right now point to the next generation being significantly stronger.
Just look at the GPU in the PS5 and Xbox Series X, they should theoretically have gtx 2080/ 2080 super levels of performance. Probably with more peformant raytracing as well.

If you really really can't wait, go for a 2070 super. It will probably run anything in 1080p for the next 5 years or more, but you really should get a 1440p monitor with that card, which will make the card not last as long and it is just a terrible value.
Buying something new right now, is really not a great time :/

Ryzen 5 3600 non-x and 2060 Super? Can currently run most games on smack full graphics in 1080p/60hz. I couldn't see what you want to play though. This can run not so optimized RDR2 pretty high. Metro Last Light runs for instance fine with all ultra settings including Ray Tracing if that tickles your fancy. If not then 5700 XT will give you some better performance for the same price.

If you rather wait for next gen CPU/GPU that would be wise but a 3600 and 2060S will last you some years, more than 1660 and it would be a waste of money to buy a graphics card now and again later this year wouldn't it?

You should wait till 16th of June for the new B550 boards. So you won't to choose between X570 or B450.

hey guys i have 1200$ budget and 1080p60hz monitor at this moment i don't have a pc i have been saving for months i think its bad moment to build a pc but i really want to game

my first choice was R5 3600 + rtx2060S/rtx2070 but i think its a overkill for 1080p60 so i decided to get a 1660super and save the rest money for october and keep saving more untill releases new gpu's and then sell my 1660s and get something that will do easy 60fps with raytracing

is this a good desicion ? or what will you do if you were in my situation with 1200$ and 1080p60hz
