my screen went black for a bit, what could it mean?

Since im insanely but INSANELY paranoic i'm making this a big deal when it could be nothing.So the story goes i was playing with one of my friends i was scrolling through steam and my screen went black and i could still hear his voice and the screen turned back on.Now this happend like 5 mins ago and im making this a big deal since i had some visual problems on csgo and i was worried it was my gpu.So if anything happens related to video i get insanely scared.Can you guys tell me why this CAN happen and WHY? (btw i have a RTX 2080S)

What visual problems? Artifacting (wired coloured pixels/shapes/lines on screen) then this can indicated issue with GPU.

 

What is your machine laptop or desktop? 

Have your overclocked it using MSI afterburner/other oc utility.

What temps is your GPU when this happens.

Basically i've been getting some weird shit in 1 specific map in csgo where when i spawn in i get some black lines for a bit.But they don't appear anywhere else but in that map.So i don't get them on desktop or on any other game.I've even done one firestrike and timespy stress test and they won't appear.So i'm sure my GPU is fine but im insanely paranoic.And my gpu temp is like 60c in csgo btw.i've played a lot of games that stress my pc and they won't appear so i think that one map has a bug of some sort.I have a desktop btw and i don't OC

So i'm just mentally fucked and i should calm down and not take everything so seriously?

It seems to be a problem with rendering in that one particular area in CSGO. Try upgrading or downgrading the gpu drivers. Make sure to use DDU.

I used DDU and i installed the newest drivers and they still happen BTW They only happen if one of my friends join with me.If i go solo in the map it doesn't happen it renders just fine.But if one of my friends joins then the lines appear for like 3 secs

It probably happens because of the new architecture of RTX and because you're also running them in SLI. I understand that you're quite scared because they're very expensive.

What am i running in SLI? I only have one 2080S lol i don't have THAT much money :))) And BTW can my screen going black be a sign of anything?
