GTX 1070 TI for 200eur

Tadziunia

Building Powermac G4 sleeper pc, everything is almost done, waiting for motherboard to arrive  only.. Today picked 1070 TI from some random Fat Kid, who upgraded to RTX 2060 super. Imo why he upgraded, He had FE 1070 TI which he ordered from USA year ago ( i live in Europe), he used it only one year, he didn't he didn't disassemble, it wasn't so dirty at all. In my country Cheapest 2060 Super goes for 440eur, meanwhile i have 1080 TI in my main rig which i got for 450eur two years ago also used, but it was used by some photographer so it wasn't mined at all. Now i am testing 1070 TI after cleaning it, damn it was hard, there so many different screws with diffferent sizes and types.. It was in okey state and even thermal paste wasn't dry, but i still repasted it. So damn, i don't understand why that kid upgraded, he had great card, he probably never tried to overclock it, i mananged to get +225mhz on core and +750mhz on memory stable with no artifacts, from that this card gained around 12-14% of performance, it should be even closer to rtx 2060 super now.

It really depends on game, and i hate nvidia for that. Tested far cry 5 stock 77FPS at 1440p ultra ant after overclock it went to 87fps, compared some scores , with this kind of performance it's more on par with rtx 2070, but i know for sure in far cry new dawn rtx cards are faster, i believe nvidia didn't bother to optimize same engine game for older gpu's, they aint' performing bad, but there is no performance gain either :)
