CX450 (450W) Enough for 1660 TI + R5 3600?

Yes, although if possible I'd replace the 1660 Ti with a 1660 Super. They perform almost identically, but the Super is far cheaper. Obviously prices are different right now so that may not be the case in your area.

Would a 450W PSU (CORSAIR CX Series CX450) be enough to power this system I'm putting together?

Specs:

CPU: R5 3600
MOBO: ASRock B450M  Micro ATX

MEMORY: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
STORAGE: Samsung 860 Evo 500
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6 GB SC ULTRA
CASE: NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower
PSU: CX450

plenty. If you want to save some money and get the same performance, consider the 1660 super.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Yes, it should be enough. The 3600 and 1660Ti will consume around 200W at full load.

Unless you got a great deal for that 1660Ti though, I'd suggest getting a 1660S instead, as it offers near identical performance at a lower cost.

Thanks, dude! Appreciate the GPU recommendation.

That kind of PSU is for when you've got several GPU's hooked up.  1600W is overkill for any system.  The good news is that there are benefits besides wattage.  You get higher efficiency, potentially more stable overclocking, and a better warranty.

But yeah, very few systems will ever use 450W.
