Build Logs of the Week?

Akula

Haven't seen a build of the week in the WAN show for over a month, safe to say this segment is dead, despite the "revamp" that was proposed.

That segment was the driving factor for myself to post builds, along with others.

Perhaps Linus or Slick could fill us in?

Yeah, it'd be awesome to do that again. I don't really watch the live stream archive a whole lot anymore as there are no build logs.  Really shows off some of the work that's been put into them seeing as a lot of people don't venture down into the forum build logs section

i havent kept up with the build logs due to them cutting it out. I have no understanding why they opted to do it and its a bad decision. Plus by the time I'm watching the live stream it's already about nearly 3am in the morning

Only speaking for myself here, but builds of the week was what separated the other forums from this one. The chance for thousands of people to see your build was a great reason to post my own build logs here.

Currently working on a system to have them be user contributed + user voted

Unfortunately much of the admin spare time recently has gone to changing our hosting solution - but this IS very high in the list

sorry guys

Why not continue the old way until you get the new system working?

It was manageable when the forum was smaller, now the amount of build-logs is insane and I can't do it by myself

Maybe they don't have the time to.
