New CPU cooler for FX 6300 - compatibility?

Hello,

 

I recently upgraded a 2016 system with a new video card (GTX 1660). This has apparently worsened a problem I have noticed before - the fan noise from the system can be very loud. HWMonitor shows the CPU fan as spinning up to 7000 RPM and not keeping the temperature below 70C or so.

 

I am looking into a new CPU cooler, but would like to make sure that I am buying something compatible with what I have. Also I would like something on the quieter side.

 

The system is the following:

Noctua NH-L12 for low profile and hey with noctua fan, it's really quite. 

 

I can't recommend the bang for buck CM Hyper 212 EVO due to height clearance of your case
