PC build that would be able to push 240 fps on fortnite

Hello i am new to PCs as my xbox just broke and im not going back to console, looking for a pc capable of 240+ fps on fortnite if possible. the only games i really play are fortnite and modern warfare, also would prefer links to prebuilt PCs as im not capable of building one.

Building a pc is easy and pros can show you how to do it and do it at the same time and still finish building it in under an hour

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.

depends on a lot.

resolution of your pc's monitor? budget? country? raytracing needed? settings youre gonna play at? cirtain higher settings kill framerates if thats all youre after.

if raytracing, better off waiting. only 20 series nvidia has raytracing for now but 30 and amd raytrace is coming soon.

ive never played fortnite so do not know if it even has raytracing.

You save a lot of money by building it yourself and building ityoruself is to most people easy and enjoyable.

I'm going to guess 1080p low/medium competitive settings. In that case, the absolute bare minimum that's going to keep you close to 240 fps would probably be a 2070 Super or a 2080. Look for a Ryzen 7 3700X or i7-9700 CPU and 16GB of RAM minimum. Everything else is up to you.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

oh bare minimum. well, like @Brok3n But who cares? said building it yourself can be cheaper. but assuming youre going 1080p medium settings in game and windows os, if you have a pc already check the cpu in "about pc" maybe you can just stick a better graphics card and psu in if it will not bottleneck. if it will maybe go new build.
