It looks cheaper IMO.

Google doesn't care if there's no branding on it, because they're simply trying to get Android market penetration. LG in that case is simply a vessel to achieve the target.

I don't see why the hell they need a logo on everything to be obnoxious many places don't, and with a premium product such as the HTC One it's retarded. Another example of a company putting their logo on the back is Apple. They don't try to be asshats and paste their logo on the front of the device and they're APPLE!

The only thing I like is the new silver color. The darker color looks better than the current HTC One I own. Anyhow, it has a ugly design somehow! They were able to make it worse than the HTC One which amazes me!

My argument for that is the design, the home button in particular. It's distinctly Apple. No one else has one like it, therefore that's their brand recognition.

Other companies put little stickers on the front. Makes sense seeing as most phones are just a slab of glass on the front. It's so that a person looks at it they don't have to say "Hey, who makes this?"

It's right there, front and center.

There are, of course, exceptions to every rule. Oppo for example. No front branding. They're also quite new though.
