My current Specs are:

Processor - Intel Core i5 6500 LGA1151 Socket 3.20GHz
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2 Socket LGA 1151
RAM - HyperX Fury 4GB DDR4 (2)
Graphic Card - ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1050 Ti mini, 4GB GDDR5
Cabinet - Cooler Master Elite 311 - Mid Tower
Power Supply - Cooler Master B500 500 Watts
Monitor - LG 24GM77 24" Gaming Monitor, 144Hz Refresh Rate

I will be upgrading my whole system and i want to start with my graphic cards. i wanna get a 2060 super or 2070. So will it be okay?

yes sice all that needs is a PCIe slot, but expect a lot of CPU bottleneck causing the card to underperform

I will be upgrading my CPU (i.e. with Mobo, RAM and PSU) within 4 to 5 months of time, will the graphics card have any issues after the upgrade? I mean like it is under-performing till that time?

A 2070 Super or a 5700XT would do just fine....

Just upgrade your RAM to 16GB and if possible your cpu to an i7-6700, there is just no need to upgrade your whole system.

I had an RX 580 running with an i7 920... Until my AIO encountered a large unexpected drop in pressure.

My motherboard entered an environment of enhanced conductivity and I very briefly had a watercooled PSU.

Thankfully the RAM and GPU survived. I regret not keeping that CPU but its value was low. Would have made a nice ornament... Stupid me recycled it instead...

until you get faster CPU

but PSU is a different matter, what are you currently using?

Just no. A quad core that doesnt even clock high has no hope even in older games that arent as CPU heavy.

I have already provided my whole system specs in the first thread itself but never mind.

I am Using a  Cooler Master B500 500 Watts PSU

Also i will be upgrading my GPU to either a  RTX 2060 or 2070 whichever will be feasible for me after this lock down is over.

But the whole point of raising this question is clear now.

The GPU will work just fine with my current specs?

Also, after an upgrade (i.e. CPU, RAM etc) the GPU will be working fine as well?

Am i Right?

Just wait until you have the funds to do a full upgrade. It'll be much easier that way.

You are just gonna bottleneck a RTX 2060 and not get great performance anyways. Might as well wait a few months and buy it all at once.

@LukeSavenije I can see the Cooler Master B2 in tier E, I wonder if B500 is one of them?

@Ev3NNN then you must get the PSU upgrade first, then the GPU. Yes at that point everything else should work fine and GPU will perform as benchmarks show

You can definitely gain some performance with GPU upgrade, so up to you. I wont rule that out
