buying new pc prebuilt most likely 1st PC HELP!!!!

you could get a 3900 or 3950 but then I would change boards.

the 3950 isn't needed for a pure gaming build.

So I moved to a better GPU as at this point it you shouldn't spend more on the CPU than the GPU

Still again I gonna say it one more time because you're not getting it: I did not suggest what CPU should he get or at what price range should he buy a PC

I remember a WAN show they had not that long ago Linus and Luke were taliking just about that:

Games and drivers along with bios change but basically difference is minimal 1-2%.

So the numbers you get on release are the numbers you get.

you did when you made a build. they can have their "perfered" chip but they said they didn't know much.

16:10 1-10%+ changes from bios changes in some cases.

intel isn't know for big jumps but AMD does given some of these are brand new chips

So I moved to a better GPU as at this point it you shouldn't spend more on the CPU than the GPU
