What kind of monitor should I look for?

Greetings.

So, my GPU can't push more than 60 FPS, so I won't look for a high refresh rate monitor.

Knowing this, my reasoning was: well then, my next priority should be image quality, and so: I should be looking for an IPS, 1440p display, right?

I'm only slightly interested in tech, I have superficial levels of knowledge. But from what I understand, OLED > IPS > the rest (VA...). 

 

Am I correct in my assumptions? Do you guys have pieces of advice for me? Thanks!

If your gonna start expending 1440p ips money why not just save up for a better Gpu?

 

if u can’t push 60fps u ain’t gonna push 1440p

Consider egpu.

 

stick to 1080p no point going 1440p
