Ryzen 7 3700x Reaching 95°C+ under load after upgrade to gtx1080ti

Dear LTT members,

I recently upgraded my graphic card from a MSI GTX1060 6gt to a Gigabyte Aurus 1080TI 11gb.
Since the upgrade my CPU's (Ryzen 7 3700x) temperature has been reaching  95°C+ to sometimes 100°C under load in games such as Apex Legends and COD MW in Ultra settings on a resolution of 3840 x 1080.
This happens after around 5 minutes of gameplay.

I am still using the AMD Stock Wraith Prism.

Idle temperatures are around 61°C
Load temp in lower demanding games like league of legends are around 88°C

I have attached is a picture of my case with fans airflow orientation. 

The two front fans, rear fan and top fan are spinning on highest setting constantly.
CPU fan and Graphic card fan are set on smart mode.

Full system specs:
- Case: NZXT S340 

- Motherboard: MSI MPG X570 Gaming plus 
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x (not OC'd)
- GFX: Gigabyte Aurus GTX1080TI 11GB
- RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Neo 16gb 3600Mhz CL16 x2 (XMP on)
 -PSU: Corsair RM750X

Could it be my airflow that is causing this problem?
The two front fans have been added after the upgrade as well, but I suspect that the 1080ti is generating so much heat the CPU cooler only has already hot air to cool the CPU.

Any suggestions, tips?

Make sure all the screws on the cooler are tightened down. Your idle temps should be at around 40C or lower.

To me it looks like the CPU cooler hasn't been tightened with the clasps. Although I could be wrong. The image provided get a bit blurry when zooming.

thanks,will look at it when I am back home, I must say the black piece above the cooler to tighten te clasps is still sitting a bit lose, is this normal ?

No. The clasp should be very tight and not able to move. When installing the cooler the clasp should flip from left to right. A lot of force is required.

Thanks, will try and resecure it.
Might be because of moving the case flat and up again while installing the new card and PSU, that the cooler got loose.

It was indeed the CPU cooler clasp that got loose, tightening it back fixed the problem!
75degrees max under load.
