I’m not sure you should be necessarily.  It’s a rule of thumb thing vs a what is actually happening thing.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

i did a stress test.. cpu touched 69, gpu 65..... i thought to get a smaller cooler .. noctua nh u12s.. but then thought if dark rock pro 4 is working fine.. whats the use to get a new one

Bird in the hand.

69 is more than fine.  If the cpu cooler moved those numbers might switch.  They’d still be fine though.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

More looks than anything, really.  Performance wise it works fine. Just looks odd to me is all. No worries.

I dunno.  Keep in mind I said “if”.  I think you’re likely fine.  Especially after that test.  Only thing I would even think about given that rig is I might want to pull the GPU (because it’s the easiest to get at) if I was moving across town.  It sounds to me like you’re golden.  You’ve got maybe a bit too much CPU cooler, which you’ve figured out how to lend the extra power from to the gpu.  As a side benefit the CPU helps direct the GPU heat out of the case.  Kind of a win.

someone with actual ocd would just replace that cooler with a brand new one ?

OCD takes many paths.  It’s an anxiety issue.  Basically weird things cause you anxiety.  People will have issues in some places and none in others and there’s no telling where they will be.  “Monk” was never a good example.  He had everything everywhere all the time.  Real people don’t work that way.

about the cables, i actually figured it might be intentional on your side as with the red light image and the neutral light image (where to ram and cable really pop out as for color) it... welll.. "looks darn good!" :)

 

as for the whole machine - excellent job i think, I esp like the way the gpu cable is done (would not have thought of this option myself which would have been an oversight on my end).

 

Hope you resolve the cooler thing to your own liking :)

Additionally, the ram, yes.. made a mistake by buying red ones ... I am actually looking to buy black ram covers and swap the red ones.. ..

 

And the gpu cable idea cane to me like two days ago haha..... At first i routed it with the 24 pin.. thru the back.. but then did like this n this turned out to be better

If you take a wire wheel to em you’ll have silver ram covers.  And no printing.  I actually thought you’d be going after the ram covers with the marker.  There must be something else I missed entirely.

No i will use marker to cover the little chipped paint on the cooler..  for the ram i thought to use some ram cooler or something to cover it..but the cooler wont allow.. no clearance left.. so my only way is either take out the covers n paint them black.. or buy different ram covers from aliexpress or somewhere n swap the red ones to black
