Most Interesting Fighting Game To Spectate On A High Level

The FGC (Fighting Game Community) has grown 10x in the last decade, and is only expanding. There are many games which find their own comfortable groove in the community (even the older ones), which doesn't clutter the scene, but rather diversifies it. The rise of some of the most iconic personas (pro-players) have sprung up through the FGC, and so have some really solid titles, which get played decades after they release.

My Question is simple - What is the MOST FUN Fighting Game To Watch as an professional E-Sport?

I'll Start: Super Smash Bros. Melee - The game's Meta is almost solidified, distinct player personalities, interesting story-lines, HYPE moments.

Let me hear your picks, guys!

This statement I agree with fully.

This video goes into some detail on why it is so fun to watch:

I mean, at some point it does get kinda boring, since watching the millionth Fox vs. Fox game can get a bit boring, but at higher levels - when even the different Foxes have a different playstyle - it does get really awesome!

Tekken 7 of course. Best looking, most balanced and hardest fighting game of all.

Its especially fun because of the personalities like Lil Majin, TMMSwe, etc. being prominent voices in the sphere. The neutral game is F.U.N!, combos are really generic - amazing to watch at the highest of levels.

lol. I wish there was a tournament for MUGEN as well. I love downloading and playing the 100th DBZ X Naruto game I could find, however, balancing is woefully compromised.

A really well made video highlighting why watching the FGC (not just SBM) is amazing at the high levels.

The games could be done tournament style but each competitor has to have the exact same roster.

Agree with Tekken 7. This is the best you can find.

Ultra Street Fighter 4 is probably my favorite game of all time, so I'd pick that.

My list goes

1. USF4
2. Capcom vs SNK 2 just watch a-cho arcade vids, that stuff is bliss
3. Tekken Tag 2
4. Low Tier Marvel vs Capcom 2
5. Any time a tournament does a mystery game

I enjoy smash bros the most. There's that free game on steam that I play myself, brawlhalla I think, that one is ok as well, since I play it myself.
