Depends on what you are doing with it.

Gaming while wearing head phones?

CAD and 3D rendering 8 hours a day?

Not point getting industrial unless your running over 1500 rpm most of the time. Thats noisy

If you're interested in a product please download and read the manual first.

Noise is noise, winter/summer... full load, idle....it varies....

I guess you may only have one option then. I would get the industrial ones but if you have a concern about noise then you will not want the industrial ones.

yes.. i literally sit 20 inches from pc,, and i will use three as case fans.. connected to 3 pin.. so they will run at full 2000 rpm.. u give me an idea.. like if i sit 20 inches from pc and 3 noctua industrial run at full 2000 rpm.. how will it feel?

So it's not for a rad/heatsink/etc? Why would you even want 2000rpm then? Unless you're using the walmart case or something, 3 noctuas at 1500rpm will be more than enough to keep the case ambient temp under control

You want to run them at full rpm? They're going to be very noisy.

You really don't need case fans running at full speed. Ever. In my testing, their performance caps out at 80%.

As for industrial... Linus says they were wrong choice when he used them in HTPC setup. Some people will say that if you control them, and run them at 1000rpm, you are good to go. But why then would you bother. They are still more noisy at 1000rpm than normal fans at same rpm would be. Maybe if you have very restrictive case...

Good. I've had the industrial ones and sold them for the chromax ones. The industrial ones are really meant for just normal use cases.

What 3pin header? Fans may still be controlled with dc / variable voltage.

What are your specs and where are the fans being used? Why are you looking at these fans? What are your temps?

Where are you shopping / located? Budget?

The thing about the industrial fans for a computer is DUST. A rating of IP52, 5 is the lowest number that starts to keep out the dust and with IP67, 6 is basicly dust proof. Dust is a big killer for fans, maybe the biggest depending were you live.

That second number (2/7) is about water and if you have to worry about water on the fans, you got bigger problems.
