So lets back up I'm only twelve, and just started getting in pc gaming a few months back and threw a lot of work I know have 2000 us dollars to spend on a pc. I was thinking of running one gtx 2080 super (my graphics card bugget is $750) then I started looking into sli. I was wondering what would be a better sli option for the same price if one at all.

Don't bother going for SLI at all. Most games do not support it and it has been deprecated, there will most likely be zero new games out in the future that support it, so you'd just be wasting your money.

SLI is only worth it if u want more performance than the single fastest card available can offer. By that i mean if currently a 2080ti isnt enough for u , u get 2. But anything lower than a 2080ti, ur better of getting the next best card in ur budget.

First -- I applaud you for earning the cash for your build.  I've seen too many kids come on here trying to find a way to weasel a new system out of their parents and that makes me sad.

Second -- what everyone else said.  If you have the money for a good GPU then that's gonna be the better option for strictly gaming.  However, if you're a fan of tinkering and benchmarking then having a SLI setup will give you hours of enjoyment and grief.

With that said you could go with 2 X 1070 ti cards and have $250 left over for your initial build or buy the 2080 super and then throw a second one in the system later when they become cheaper on the used market.  That's if you really want to play with SLI.  And I say play with SLI because it may not net you any gains in gaming performance.
