The black thing at the top of the motherboard with the slits in it.  Is that for cable management?  I was thinking about running the AIO cables through the slits.

You can run a cable through it, it might get hot, but far from hot enough to cause damage to cables.

Certainly not INTENDED for cable management. Just pointing it out.

At me or quote me, I want to hear your opinion.

Hopefully anything I say is factually correct. Sorry for any mistakes in advanced.

Sure you could route cables trough there. It's not meant for it, but theres almost nothing to go wrong. (besides pulling the heatsink of)
Personally i would just route them on the side of it. But under the faceplate/heatsink. Get it as close to the motherboard itself make it looks nice and such.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

Heatsink, and the slits are just cosmetic. They'll be sharp so routing the cables through there is not a great idea.
